Store & inventory

Store

Changing the store will update the availability and price of products.
Ex: If you have a wholesale "store", you may have listed the product at a lower price than you did within the tasting room store.

Add stores

Go to Settings > Stores (in the Stores & Website section) > Click the "+" next to "Name".

Change the default store

Go to Settings > Store Appearance (in the Stores & Website section) > Default Store for new back-end orders.

Inventory

Select where you would like the inventory to be taken from.

Add inventory locations

Go to Settings > Inventory Locations (in the Catalog section) > Type in the new inventory location name next to "Add New" and click "Save".

Products

Add Items

  1. Next to "Item" click the "+" symbol.
  2. Start typing the first few letters of the product and the list will start to populate. If the item does not show up, open the Catalog in a separate tab and make sure the store you have selected for the order is checked on the product page.
  3. Enter the quantity of the item being purchased.
  4. Adjust the list price, if necessary.
NOTE: If you choose to do this, discount tracking will not pick up this order.

Discounts

A dropdown of current and expired promotion codes is displayed. Choose one of these or just leave "promo code..." for no discount.

  • If you entered a club member, their club promotion code will automatically populate.
  • You may leave the promotion code empty and manually enter in a dollar amount for the discount.
CAUTION: This is not recommended because it will not show up on CompleteDTC reports. It will only show up on the Bookkeeping Sales Report as "Unallocated Product Discount".
  • If the discount dollar amount is displayed in red, you should click on recalculation icon to recalculate the discount to the proper value.

Shipping

Choose the desired shipping method from the dropdown menu, associated charges will be automatically calculated.

NOTE: "Delivery" should be selected for non-shipped Wholesale orders to ensure the sales tax is properly processed.

Sales Tax

This is calculated automatically by CompleteDTC based on the taxability of items in the order and the sales tax method chosen for the state.

Notes

Special instructions

Notes visible to customers on their order confirmation

Internal notes

Only visible internally within CompleteDTC
