Catalog: overview

All of your products, clubs, gratuity options, and more will be added to the Catalog. To add, edit, delete or see the list of Catalog items, go to "Tools" in the top navigation bar and under "Products", choose "Catalog".

To add a new product or catalog item, click the "+" next to "Catalog" at the top of the page.

Item ID
The SKU set up within the catalog item, core information

Description
The description set up within the catalog item, core information

Icons
Image with caution sign: no image associated with the product
Three wine bottles: the item's Cellar Status flag is turned on
Wine glass: the item is flagged to be displayed on the Tasting Menu
Star: featured

Section
Use sections to easily filter products. This is very beneficial when using the POS or when customers are shopping on your website.

Add sections

  1. Click the settings icon in the top navigation.
  2. Go to "Settings" under "Configuration".
  3. Under the Catalog section, click "Catalog sections".
  4. Click the "+" next to "Section Name".
  5. Name the section and choose if you would like items in that section to show up on the webstore.

Sequence
Set the order products are shown in the store. Number the catalog items 1, 2, 3, etc to determine a specific order. If a sequence is not set, items will populate alphabetically, or by vintage and then alphabetically.

Inventory
Stock tracking allows you to configure each item in the catalog according to its inventory type.

Base
The base price set under pricing. This is the price listed in the webstore.

Stores
All your stores are listed. The checkmark indicates the item is listed within that store.

Filters

To add a new product or catalog item, click the "+" next to "Catalog" at the top of the page.

Search for
Start to enter the name of the item you are looking for. The search looks at both the Item ID and Description columns.

Section
Use this dropdown to limit the items displayed to ones assigned to the chosen Section.

Active store
Filter to items that show up within a specific store.

Availability
Choose if an item is sold out, a coupon, club only, allocated, or call for info.

Sequence
Filter by if the sequence is set or not.

Flag
Choose a specific flag. Flags are set per product within the catalog item set up.

Inventory type
Filter by if a product has an inventory type of future, assembly, inventory item, virtual, or none.

Inactives
Show items that have been marked as inactive. All active items will still show.

CSV download
Click the Excel page icon for a CSV download of the filtered list of items.
