Create an outbound email campaign from scratch

  1. Go to "Tools" and under "Marketing", choose"Marketing Wizard".
  2. Click "Campaign builder".
  3. Select "create a new campaign from scratch".
  4. Fill in the fields for campaign name (the internal name), email subject (subject line to customers), and who the email is coming from. Also choose if the campaign is an A/B test or normal and review the tracking options.
  5. Choose between public or private.
  6. Once all of the campaign settings look correct, click "2. HTML". This will bring you to a drag and drop email builder.
  7. Drag and drop any content items, and edit the design to make it exactly as you would like.
  8. Once the email looks how you would like, click on "List builder" at the top.
  9. Choose which customer base list you would like to use. You will be able to extensively filter down after the base list is chosen.
  10. To filter the list down, click the second tab, "Apply filters", and select the necessary filters. This list is extensive; you can choose as many or as few filters as you need to.
  11. Once a filter or filters have been selected, choose the blue "rebuild mailing list" to see the number of people in your new list. Readjust any filters as needed and click "rebuild mailing list" to view the newest list.
    NOTE: To reset all filters, click the circle with an arrow icon to remove all filters.
  12. Click on the third tab, "Tune list", to view everyone in your current list. If you would like to manually take people off the list, uncheck the "Send?" box.
    NOTE: You can also view a clients profile information by clicking on the magnifying glass next to their name. It will open in a new window so no need to worry about losing where you are.
  13. Click on the fourth tab "results map" to view a map of where everyone is located. This can be especially helpful if you are planning an event at a third party location and you need to pick the ideal location for all the invitees.
  14. Once you are happy with your list, click "Save campaign".
  15. Click "Send email" at the top of this page. Do not worry, this won't send the email immediately.
  16. Read the compliance section and if everything is accurate, check the box.
  17. Send yourself, and anyone else who needs to review, a test email by entering emails in the "additional recipients" box and click "send test message". Make any necessary adjustments to your email by clicking back to "campaign builder".
  18. Once the email looks as expected, choose if you want to send the email within the next 5 minutes or schedule it for a date. Scheduled emails will send automatically at the time set.
  19. Click "OK - Launch Message".

Create an outbound email template

  1. Go to "Tools" and under "Marketing", choose"Marketing Wizard".
  2. Click "Campaign builder".
  3. Select "create a new campaign from scratch".
  4. Fill in the fields for campaign name (the internal name), email subject (subject line to customers), and who the email is coming from. Also choose if the campaign is an A/B test or normal and review the tracking options.
  5. Choose "Template" for the "campaign target".
  6. Once all of the campaign settings look correct, click "2. HTML". This will bring you to a drag and drop email builder.
  7. Drag and drop any content items, and edit the design to make it exactly as you would like.
  8. At this time, you can save the template and it will go into your templates folder. You may also continue to build the list as well.
  9. If you would like to continue making a list for your template, follow steps 8-14 above.
  10. Save the template at any time.

Use the email template

  1. Go to "Tools" and under "Marketing", choose"Marketing Wizard".
  2. Click "Campaign builder".
  3. Select "create a new campaign from" and from the dropdown, choose the template you wish to use.
  4. Fill in the fields for campaign name (the internal name), email subject (subject line to customers), and who the email is coming from. Also choose if the campaign is an A/B test or normal, review the tracking options and choose between public or private.
  5. Continue to create and send the email.
