Product catalog
View the product catalog
- In the top navigation, click "More".
- Under "Products", click "Catalog".
Functions of product catalog
- View all items in your catalog, including alcohol, merchandise, virtual products, gratuities, etc. This includes both active and inactive product. To view inactive products, turn the toggle on at the bottom of the filters.
- Add a new item using the blue "+ Add Item" button in the top right.
- Search for products by item ID or item name (description).
- Filter products using section, active store, availability, sequence, flags, or inventory type. Remove all filters using the blue allow next to "Filters".
- Download a CSV of all filtered items using the "Save visible to CSV" button at the bottom of the filters.

Core information
- SKU
The SKU can include letters, numbers, "-", "_". SKUs cannot include spaces or other characters.
If you are pushing orders to Vinoshipper, the SKU must match identically in both systems. - SKU type
Selecting the type (alcohol, size/style/color for merch, or other) will determine what other fields show. - Description
The name of the product. - Section
The sections help to filter items in the product catalog, in POS, or on your website. Section options can be changed in More > Settings > Catalog Sections. - Stock Tracking
If you will be tracking inventory, select inventory. For more information on inventory tracking, click here. To create a multipack - select "assembly" and choose the components. - Weight
Add the weight of the product. - # of bottle slots
This is for shipping purposes. A 750mL bottle is 1 bottle slot. - Minimum ship speed
The default is Ground. You can select another shipping speed or "cannot be shipped". - Requires separate package
Toggle on if the item will always ship in a separate box and would need a separate shipping label. For example, a gift box. - Unit of measure
The default is 750mL. For merchandise, select "each". For a custom unit of measure, choose "•• add new option" and enter the unit of measure.
Compliance information
- This section will be more extensive for alcohol products. For alcohol products, choose the tax category, alcohol type, ABV, country origin, state, AVA, package size, container material, COLA, and source. You will have the opportunity to add more information about the product using the marketing tab.
Pricing
- Base price
This is the retail price. - Status
- Stores
Toggle on each store this item is available. You have the opportunity to change the price for any store set up as Internal only. Stores can be set up in More > Settings > Stores.
Flags
- Toggle on any applicable flags.
Marketing section
Wine marketing
The below information is for products listed as "wine". Other alcohol products will have different fields. Other non-alcohol items will also have less fields.
- Wine type
Choose the overall wine type. This will determine the varietals you can choose from. - Vintage
Choose the vintage year or "non-vintage". - Varietal
Options determined by the chose wine type. - Set sequence
Toggle on if you would like to specify the order of products on your website. - Show in cellar
Toggle on if you would like this item to appear in the club member's cellar. If you are not using the cellar status, leave this off. - Teaser
Very short description of the product. - URL tag
This is automatically generated based on the SKU. It can be used to link to a specific product. - Cross sell IDs
Add catalog IDs (not SKUs) of items you would like to promote when a customer has added this product to their cart. - Spec sheet
Add a PDF that customers can download, related to this product (ie tech sheet, recipe, etc). - Custom quantity
You can specify the quantity a customer can add to their cart. For example, if you want a customer to only be able to purchase in twos, enter 2,4,6,8,10,12. - Image
Upload the product image. This will appear on your website and POS.
Descriptions
To add content to each of these sections, select the section and use the text box on the right. This content will show on each product page of your website.
