Enable allocations

If "Allocated" doesn't appear as an "Availability" option, you must enable allocations within your account settings.

  1. Log in to your CompleteDTC account.
  2. Go to the settings icon in the top right and under "Configuration", choose "Settings".
  3. Within the "Catalog" section, choose "Allocations & Futures".
  4. Toggle the "Allocation system active" on.
  5. In the next setting, "Allocations enforced", decide if you would like allocations to be only enforced in the webstore or in every store.

Set availability as "allocated"

Once allocations have been turned on for the account as a whole, you can set a product's availability to "allocated".

  1. Go to "Tools" in the top navigation and choose "Catalog".
  2. Open the catalog item you would like to make an allocated item.
  3. Under "Pricing",  click the "Status" dropdown, and choose "Allocated".
  4. A new tab, "Allocation manager" will appear within the modal.

Within the allocation manager tab, you can choose how the inventory is distributed between each club.

  1. Set the dates (yyyy-mm-dd) where this allocation is valid.
  2. Choose the club(s) this product is allocated to.
  3. For each club choose
    1. the minimum quantity they must purchase
    2. the maximum quantity they can purchase
    3. if they can or cannot request a number higher than the maximum

NOTE: You can automatically over-allocate to individual members by turning on the setting in their account on the People page.
